1. Dec 4, 2005 Walk the Mill River. Start 73 Nash St, end Eli Whitney Museum, Whitney Ave.


2. Feb 26, 2006 Walk to Beaver Pond Park. Start at Common Ground School, 358 Springside Ave, end at Beaver Pond Park.  Guide Nan Bartow


3. April 1, 2006, April Fools’ Walk to the Sea, Start at Sundial Edgewood Park, corner of Chapel and Ella Grasso Blvd. Walk the West River Watershed.End at New HavenHarbor, Long Island Sound, near Howard Ave. Guide Dave Rehrer.


4. May 6, 2006 New Haven Harbor.  Start at veterans “V” Memorial and walk along harbor to Lighthouse Point.


5. June 4, 2006 Fair Haven.  Start Fair Haven Woodworks, River Street & Blatchley Ave, head west around the perimeter of Fair Haven, stop at Grand Paint on Grand Ave, and continue along the coast coming to Stuart Hutchings oystering business, then on to the park at Front Street and back to Fair Haven Woodworks for the end.


6. July 8, 2006 Common Ground School up over West Rock to Shepard’s Farm on Rt. 69 in Bethany.


7. Aug 12, 2006 East Rock Park. Meet at the Ranger Station. Loop walk up East Rock and back to Ranger Station for breakfast.


8. Sept 16, 2006 Canoe Trip with QRWA.  Meet at Talcon Asphalt and Gravel, Sacket Point Road, North Haven.  Travel by canoe on the Quinnipiac River, come out at landing area near Quinnipiac Ave & Grand Ave, (near Bistro Restaurant)

2. Nov 18, 2006 Legion Ave Walk.  Start at Flagpole on New Haven Green. Walk to Orange St, across connector, near hospital, down Frontage Road, to Ella Grasso Blvd, down George St and back to Green.

19. Aug 18, 2007 Bethany Water Company Lands.  Start Regional Water Authority Parking Lot, Hatfield Road Bethany.  Walk one loop around Lake Bethany. Second loop to the West River Gorge.

20. Sept 23, 2007 Canoe trip with QRWA. Entered River further north of Sacket Point Rd. and then came south to leave behind Tilcon.

21. Oct 20, 2007 Sleeping Giant Autumn Leaves. Start walk at 3931 Whitney Ave. and go along River Road to the shoulder of the Giant.  Coming back to Whitney Ave via Wentworth’s Ice Cream.  Took the city bus out and back.

22. Nov 10, 2007 Farmington Canal Bike Ride. Brooksvale Park, Hamden back to Hillhouse Ave. New Haven.

27. April 26, 2008 Geology Walk with Cope McClintock on East Rock. Meet East RockRoad Bridge over the Mill River.  Walk will go up East Rock and end at the Bridge.

28. May 10, 2008 Lake Saltonstal. Walk begins in parking lot on the east side of LakeSatonstal.
