LIFEBOAT GARDEN
In the spring of 2007, we started a "Lifeboat Garden" at 608 Whitney Avenue on the property of the First Unitarian Universalist Society. (The FUUS congregation has been very generous in hosting the garden and allowing us to expand it since that time.) You may have seen the
sign
when passing by.
In 2008 the garden was expanded and now looks like this:
The purpose of the project is to raise awareness about the Bioregional Group and the idea of "
Food, Not Lawns
." If you would like to join the Garden Committee, or to know more about the Lifeboat Garden Project, please
contact us
