Founded in 2005, the New Haven Bioregional Group sponsors walks, films, canoe trips, potlucks, and other events to help residents of the Quinnipiac Bioregion connect with their natural and built environment, to build community resilience, and connect people to each other by deepening their sense of place.
In the video below, Fred Cervin of the Bioregional Group discusses the philosophy and practice of bioregionalism, and Maria Tupper talks about the activities we organize to promote bioregionalism. (Thanks to Chris Zurcher for providing the video.)
